Brief History of G-AYFP:

Believed to be a type D140A manufactured by SAB at Bernay in March 1959.

We think it was first registered F-WNDO as a short-term test registration at the SAN factory.

Then registered as F-OBLH, a French overseas registration, believed to be based in North Africa.

Sold back to mainland France in about June 1965, and was re-registered F-BMSI.

Sold to the UK and registered G-AYFP on 24/6/70. Initially in Jersey, then Speke, Sherburn and Doncaster.

In 1995 it was sold and then based at Redhill.

It was sold in 2000 and is based at Little Gransden.

This aircraft is now de-registered as it was destroyed.
