Serial No.:
Alain Mathon
Artigues, near Lourdes, France

Artigues is a 320m x 20m airstrip with a 10% gradient. Elevation 2600 ft. Only one way in and one way out! Alain welcomes visitors, especially Jodellers, but suggests a landing first at LFDT or LFBT for a serious briefing. Youcan contact him at the e-mail above. He will give you his telephone number if you wish to talk to him about landing at his strip.

F-PYER is on skis from November to April every year. Skis are retractable hydraulically with a hand pump inside the cabin for tarmac or grass landings. They decrease performance by about 20% because of the additional drag and weight.

Alain's highest ski landing with this aeroplane was at Glacier du Tour (French Alps) at 12500 ft.
