Lelystad airfield, Holland. Hans Teijgeler's (PH-MGA) and Willem Baggerman's (PH-ASE) home airfield.
Lelystad airfield is the heart of GA in Holland, with many interesting aircraft ... all airworthy and some very rare.
Resident at Lelystad are:
* Both PH registered Jodels
* Catalina flying boat
* Lockheed super constellation (One of three airworthy in the world!)
* Regular visits from DC3 and DC2 (last airworhty one in the world!)
* P-51 Mustang
* Half a dozen WW-I replica's (Fokker triplane, Sopwith camel, etc)
* Two Fouga Magisters
* Two dozen homebuilts (ranging from kitfox to several Lancairs and velocities)
* Five Fokker S11's
* Two float planes
* A large museum
* Dealers for Cirrus, Diamond, Beechcraft
Downside: It grew too large to be very personal any longer. Plus it is not exactly a cheap place to land or refuel (although mogas is available).
A hotel will be opened shortly.
