Finals 08 RAF Wittering.
We were invited to a sort of 'Fly-In' at RAF Wittering.
It was actually called a 'Family Day' with about 50 or so
light aircraft invited to attend. Our strip is right in their MATZ so we get to know them pretty well.
Now that's a runway!

G-BANU is based at a small farm strip just west of Stamford, Lincolnshire, UK. The lake in this image is Rutland Water. The road running along the bottom edge of the aircraft screen in the top image is the A1 heading north.
